Enchanted Rock

Enchanted Rock is a massive granite dome that rises above the Texas Hillcountry, standing at 425 feet. At the top you have 360 views of the entire countryside, and it’s the perfect place to sit, relax, and feel connected to nature. The Tonkawa Indians initially discovered the rock and considered it to be a sacred place haunted by spirits.

These days Enchanted Rock is known as a geological phenomenon known as a “batholith,” created a billion years by molten lava that crystallized into granite. I’ve been to Enchanted Rock over 5 times and each time it’s just as spectacular as the last. These photos are from all my trips, beginning from 2013 to 2018.
