Crater Lake still remains as one of the most beautiful lakes I’ve seen in my life. The lake is an ancient crater initially discovered by Indians. It’s a 30 mile radius around, with 360 views. The water remains pristine as it is pure glacier water that melts in the spring. To this day no one is allowed to swim it and one boat goes out to the middle island only a couple times a day.

Crater Lake isn’t that well known to tourists and I was surprised how very people, especially Americans, don’t even know about it. I spent an entire day there as there are lookout points and over 8,000 feet mountains you can climb for spectacular views of the entire National Park. If you have a chance to go to this gem, you should!
